ok, yesterday i was on an mrt going to meet shables and i sat beside these two guys. by the way, one of them looked like amoz. =)
and then the-amoz was trying to figure out why a short, not-so-smart but sociable friend of his could have such good ties with girls. the guy beside me was like: "hey, you know, im christian so..." the-amoz:" oh yeah. you're christian..." christian:" yeah, so these things dont rly affect me and i dont rly care about this type of thing. you see, if you know God then you dont rly follow the world's system of...thinking. yeah, i know everybody likes to be popular but if you know God then, yeah, you know." *silence* the-amoz:" but i rly dont know how a guy like him can...blah blah blah etc etc."
i guess the christian dude must have felt sort of disrespected cos his friend just changed the subject from God to the guy again. have you ever come across friends who just cant stick to the subject of God and there you are hoping that he will ask you about God and all so that you can evangelise? and plus the-amoz was using a whole load of vulgarities during the conversation, even after the christian telling him about being a christian. sort of disrespectful, if you ask me. and they were both speaking rly loudly, loud enough for the entire carriage to hear.
so that conversation entertained me throughout the whole ride to cck. -giddy

hello! i have finally finished reading footprints! yay! its quite the page-turner you know? for those who havent started yet. and i didnt know dr.Tow was so...great back then. now i really cant look at him with the same perspective anymore. i think i might just re-read it again.
and as for the baking session, the venue is currently being discussed by ShAbels and his parents. RIGHT, ShAbels??? (if not then you should get started on discussing soon...)
and as for recipes, simone can choose whatever she bakes best and we can bake those too! so that it turns out edible! good idea yeah? good.

ok, never mind with the sleepover. change of plans. due to unforeseen curcumstances, the sleepover idea will be tossed into the bin. but dont worry cos the pros at the drawing board have come up with a delicious idea...bwa haha!
the pros think that a baking sessionwould be much more suitable and legal. so we shall nowdecide whether you!,the voters, want such an outing! please tag your comments on the chatbox! like that we will know who has been reading and who has been leaving. so tag your vote before the lines close on 1st Dec!

no need for planning anymore cos simone just sent an sms to all for a SLEEPOVER! i know, shocking right? never been to one. so she says that it shall take place NEXTMONDAY! and i can already think of a couple of people who cant make it. but i know i can! now all i need is parent's approval. reply her sms soon ok?
this holiday has been a holiday like none other because i have been spending 1/3 of my day at wei heng's place almost everyday. and i think he is starting to get annoyed at my com-hogging so i shall just play basketball from now on. and this hols there is homework to do so its different from last hols.
ok, what to share? i know, i know! i got this quote from Chicken Soup for the Soul: Christian Teen Talk. and it goes like this!

yup yup! pretty easy to understand but hard to apply. when caught up in pleasure or ecstatic-ness, God may not be in the center of our thoughts, even if we fully know that it is God who has given that joy. it happens to all and all cos we are such ungrateful people, arent we? remember, God gives just like that and God can take away just like that. so the next time you are having alot of fun with friends at a gathering or with your family at Genting getting spun round and round on the huge spinning thing, just know that God cares and thats why he has made the sun to shine for you. many many people around the globe may not be having such a fun time as you, so while it lasts, give thanks and God might just give you more fun! and when it rains the next time, God will help you because you are not an ungrateful child. so pray without ceasing in all seasons.

we (possibly) only have 2 months left as a group, so let's make the most of it (: can we have a group outing soon please? :D abel and gideon, would you guys like to organize? you just have to come out with where-to-go and what-to-do and the rest of us will make it work (: and it'll be fun, trust me!
