in reply to gideon, sheep and shepherd is like this buddy system where the 'older' people in the YF draw names of the younger YFers. (: then this 'old' person has to write to the younger person, and he/she can choose whether to tell his/her sheep who he/she is!
if your shepherd doesn't want you to know who he/she is, you can reply by addressing he/she as (myname)'s shepherd and stick it on the board above the YF cupboard.
